By default. Courses created in Moodle are hidden from student view. This allows faculty to create and edit the course prior to actually opening it for students. Once the course room is ready for students, make sure to SHOW it in the edit settings portion of the course shown below. Faculty members can also choose to hide or show individual portions of the course to students throughout the semester.
